The Corner House,  has been a coaching inn and pub for over 115 years, situated next to what was an old gas works site.

The gas works are long gone and the area around the Pub and Newmarket road have  been massively redeveloped over the years, but the Corner House, formerly known as the Butchers Arms, has retained it's charm. 

 

Now newly refurbished the Corner House is bigger and better than ever before.

Situated on Newmarket road, we are a short 10mins walk from the Grafton Centre, 20 mins from the historic city centre and just 5mins from the River Cam.

We are also  immediately opposite the Premier Inn and 1 mins walk from the Travel Lodge.

Close to all amenities such as the retail parks, ice rink and cinema.

Food is served daily, lunch and evenings, (please see our restaurant opening times here), with a wide range of vegan and gluten free options.  

We serve a wide variety of lager, guest ales, a great range of spirits and bottle beers,  plus we have an exceptional wine list.

The Corner House has free car parking and a sunny beer garden, with decking area and green space with outdoor bean bags and seating (seasonal).

For people with limited mobility we now have full ramp access to the rear of the building with a newly created accessible toilet in our extension. 

We offer free wifi with the cloud, free phone charging stations, board games and books.

We welcome all well behaved Children and they are allowed in all areas of the pub. However no under 14's after 9pm please, and no 14-17 year olds after 11pm, (all minors must be with with a parent or guardian).

The Corner House is a dog friendly pub, however please be respectful of any people eating and keep dogs on leads at all times, thank you!
